J Richard Gill, DVM

Dr. Gill earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine (MSU CVM) in 1988. Following six years of valuable experience in a mixed animal practice in Tennessee, Dr. Gill, alongside his wife Sherri, established the Animal Hospital of Clinton in 1994. Together, Dr. Gill and Sherri are proud parents of two children and doting grandparents to five grandchildren. A devoted member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church since 1994, he has actively contributed to the community, serving in various leadership capacities including Deacon, Elder, and Sunday School Teacher. Dr. Gill's commitment to his profession further extends to significant leadership roles within the Mississippi Board of Veterinary Medicine, where he most recently held the distinguished position of President. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Gill cherishes spending quality time with his grandchildren and finds relaxation and enjoyment working on his small farm.
